The project aimed at the control and monitoring of the quality of treated effluent and the sea where disposal takes place from the wastewater treatment plant treating petroleum effluents. The methodology for the implementation of the project was the following:

  • Activity 1: Sampling, measurements and analyses of the treated effluent of the wastewater
  • Activity 2: Sampling, measurements and analyses of sea water
  • Activity 3: Sampling, measurements and analyses of sea sediments
  • Activity 4: Assessment of the results and conclusions
  • Activity 5: Insertion of data

elpe2The deliverables included:

  • Technical reports on the results for Activities 1-4, every 3 months.
  • Interim technical reports every four months
  • Final Technical Report assessing the results
