The project included an environmental impact study for the whole operation of the Hellenic Air Corporation. The target was to determine all polluting sources and polluting load and make suggestions for the improvement of the environmental performance and reduce the environmental impact from the operation of the various facilities.
ENVIRECO Consulting did not participate in the consortium, but undertook the organization of the final workshop taking place in Amman in April 2013.
A detailed environmental impact study was performed related to the extension of the refinery and its wastewater treatment plant. Also, the marine area where the treated wastewater was disposed was monitored in order to assess the environmental impacts from such activities.
